Community Information

As part of the evolution of Iluma Private Estate, Mirvac has acquired a new parcel of land from the State Government to expand the Iluma community.

Before the arrival of MetroNet, this 3.5 hectares of land was zoned for the potential extension of Reid Highway and the new Railway, however this land is surplus to government requirements and in recent months Mirvac has contracted this land. The State Government is amending the Metropolitan Regional Scheme (MRS) to rezone the land for residential development.

The acquisition of this land will allow Mirvac to increase the size of Iluma Private Estate by an additional 65 lots, and also increase the public open space and parklands within the Estate for the entire community to enjoy.

  • Levels will be no more than 100mm higher than existing adjacent lots
  • The sound wall will remain at the rear of existing homes
  • A new solid wall will be built on the southern end of the development to accommodate the new residences

*Proposed public open space is subject to council approvals. Mirvac is aware that not all approvals required by law in relation to the siting of the proposed park have been given. Purchasers should make their own enquiries as to what approvals are yet to be given.
